Diego Armando Maradona’s debut as team manager for Dorados F.C. in an official match will have to wait for at least two more days.

The Argentinian soccer star’s first match at the forefront of the Sinaloa team will be against the Coffee Farmers of Tapachula, and though the calendar had indicated that the match corresponding to the 8th date of Mexico’s Promotion Tournament was to be played on Saturday, September 15, the date has been modified.

The game will now be played at the Banorte stadium on Monday, September 17, at 21:00 hours Central Time.

Dorados has been in the championship’s latter positions for a while now, with only three points in a tournament at which they haven’t won a single game.
